Bio

Gina Clarke is a freshwater ecologist who specialises in phytoplankton monitoring and in the biological analysis of lake sediments. She has specific expertise in diatom, chironomid head capsule and plant macrofossil taxonomy and is interested in how lake ecosystems change on different time-scales. Most of her work focusses on sites in the UK but she has also worked on lakes in Alaska and Norway.

Current Position

Research Consultant (Ensis Ltd) & Research Associate (UCL)
